Wonder and Culture

I am just having some fun here. I have reinstated this art as the craft of life site as of Sept 2020 anyway. It is good to have. I hope to have some studio visits with curators and publishers to share the idea of life art, art life. I am in a really good place right now. I have my job at the library and am doing my grad school all of which should provide financial security for this artist (that’s me!). It has been a very long time to get into a scenario that is actually cool in its own right, will pay the bills and give me money to life my art life. Now I just have to write about it all, do more videos about it all and give some talks out in public. I am listening to some Apex Twin tonight and just watched the changing of chords for John Cage’s As Slow As Possible in Halbertadt Germany. I was there actually at once in my younger years. I have a ton of energy used up in the fine arts in my 20’s. All of that plays a part to a certain extent . I also recently discovered someone named Frederick Dodson who does a practice he calls reality creation which I think in some ways shares what I am doing as life art. I think I just want to give more to this project/life. I want to cook more and more nutritiously and speak my mind here on the bog. God knows I have no idea if anyone ever reads any of this but I keep to it because it is fun and it makes me happy. I dream sometimes that it would all get used in a good way somehow in the support of life art. I have not found any other people saying straight up life art yet. People are doing stuff like this but they do not call themselves artists. I hope I can continue to bridge the gap between life and art and manifesting practices and visualization and law of attraction and Neville Goddard type stuff and Eckhart Tolle and Jon Kabat Zinn and my own stuff and just make something new yet timeless and ancient and futuristic, something cool something fun. a life but also work that can be built upon going forward somehow. God knows I have read a million books and so forth and have gained insight and inspiration from those. If I could offer just a fraction of that to readers, viewers, livers, fellow human beings that is a goal for sure. I want to give back to the pool of cool ideas and practices that helped influence me and inspire me. The grand pool of knowledge and wonder we all share in and culture too.
